Leaked EDC Chicago Lineup

What is rumored to be the EDC Chicago lineup (the headliners anyway) has been leaked. This leak has not been confirmed by Insomniac Events, who run Electric Daisy Carnival, but it is very interesting.

Artists listed include:
Tiesto
Armin Van Buuren
Deadmau5
Kaskade
Carl Cox
Fedde Le Grand and
Richie Hawtin

If this lineup is in fact real then I think it should put any nervous festival goers at ease.

EDC Chicago will be Memorial Day Weekend at the Chicagoland Motor Speedway in Joliet.

Spotlight Chicago: X5IGHT

I’d like to introduce a new segment where I feature up-and-coming Chicago EDM artists starting with house producers X5IGHT.

X5IGHT is made up of Chicago area natives Brandon (18) and Jerry (19).  Although many of their tracks are classified as prog/electro house, they don’t like to limit themselves to just one style of music. Artists they admire include Afrojack, Porter Robinson, Zedd and trance-legend Armin Van Buuren.

X5IGHT is set to headline Foam N’ Glow in Cincinnati  on February 23^rd at Bogart’s.

Spring Awakening Tickets On Sale, Lineup Announced

At midnight, Spring Awakening Music Festival tickets went on sale and phase 1 of the lineup was officially announced.

3 day passes are $145 for General Admission and $200 for VIP. Spring Awakening is set to take place the weekend of June 14^th at Soldier Field.

Headliners Bassnectar and Calvin Harris will close out two of the nights at the main stage, located inside of Soldier Field. The lineup includes Chicago natives Krewella, Flosstradamus, and Zebo. Other big names include Porter Robinson, Bingo Players, Excision, Zedd, R3hab, Zeds Dead, and many, many more.

Its already safe to say this is going to be one of the biggest music festivals in Chicago this summer.

Spring Awakening is set to take place June 14, 15, and 16 at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Tickets go on sale for EDC Chicago

Tickets for the Chicago edition of Electric Daisy Carnival have just gone on sale. Regular 3-day passes and VIP 3-day passes went on sale for $175 and $299 respectively. You must be 21+ to purchase VIP tickets and service charges vary from $29-42.

As has been highly anticipated, EDC Chicago will be the first and only installment of EDC to feature camping. Camping passes are an additional $120 more than the GA and VIP tickets at $295 and $419. No word yet on the size of the campgrounds but Insomniac has announced many of the camping details.

Layaway options are also available for both regular and camping tickets allowing attendees to pay for their ticket over four payments. 

EDC Chicago Camping Details

EDC Chicago to be held at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet

As has been highly anticipated, EDC Chicago will be the first and only installment of Electric Daisy Carnival to feature camping. Camping passes are an additional $120 more than the Regular and VIP tickets at $295 and $419, respectively. No word yet on the size of the campgrounds but Insomniac has released some details about the campgrounds on the official EDC Chicago website:

- All combination camping + weekend admission tickets (either GA or VIP) will be provided space to camp on a beautiful grass area.

- The camping area is conveniently located right next to the festival so access from your campsite will be extremely simple.

- Only attendees with camping passes will be allowed to enter the camping area.

- Campers will be able to travel back and forth from the campgrounds to the festival all weekend long.

- The campgrounds will be opened on Thursday the 23rd and a special pre party will be thrown that evening for campers only!

- Potable water, toilets, showers, and concessions will be available in the camping area.

One of the most exciting announcements has to be the Thursday pre-party for campers only! Tickets go on sale at noon on January 23rd.
